Following the founding of YourRetreats, we’ve continued to evolve our offering, guided by the belief that lodges can be both luxurious and liveable, striking and sustainable. Our existing models - distinguished by their LED ambient lighting, clean lines, and Scandi-inspired interiors - already serve as a strong foundation. But as the demand for statement-making accommodation grows, so too must our ambition.

Which brings us to our most exciting project yet.

We’re thrilled to unveil a new custom lodge design, developed in partnership with Lloyd Harden Design.

A Vision Made Reality

The brief was straightforward but ambitious: to create a signature model that would showcase the full potential of what YourRetreats can offer - an architectural statement piece that stands apart from anything else on the market.

And Lloyd delivered.

From the sharp, angular roofline to the dramatic use of glazing and nature-inspired cladding, this lodge exudes presence and poise. The layout feels sculptural yet organic, with each line and surface flowing intuitively from one space to the next. When nestled among trees and water, the building blurs the boundaries between indoors and out.

Living Spaces that Breathe

Step inside, and you’re greeted by a breathtaking open-plan living area - designed to frame the surrounding landscape like a piece of art. Floor-to-ceiling windows, paired with generous skylights, flood the interior with natural light, creating a space that feels open, uplifting and luxuriously comfortable.

The interior reflects a contemporary Scandinavian influence - something our lodges have become known for - with warm wood tones, minimal lines, and thoughtful lighting layered throughout. From the elegant pendant lighting to the understated matte cabinetry, every detail has been chosen to balance style and functionality.

Whether you’re entertaining guests, relaxing with family, or enjoying a peaceful weekend getaway, this space adapts to every occasion. The expansive seating area, built-in media wall, and ambient LED accents make it feel more like a boutique hotel suite than a traditional lodge.

The bedrooms are designed with rest in mind, offering a cocoon of calm and comfort. The master suite features soft, layered textiles, a striking pattern-clad feature wall, and natural light from an overhead skylight - perfect for watching the stars as you wind down.

And the bathroom? A statement all on its own. With a mix of black marble, wood-effect panelling, brushed gold accents, and contemporary fixtures, it’s a space that wouldn’t feel out of place in a luxury spa.
